About Seventy Three Ventures. Seventy Three Ventures (73V) is a technology company dedicated to ensuring that all women have access to safe, medically-supported care for reproductive health.
Our augmented intelligence (AI)-based conversational agents guide patients through the care experience, providing medication and treatment plans, answering questions, triaging symptoms and side effects, and following up with patients, all through empathetic, non-judgmental text-based conversations.Job Title. Operations LeadStructure. The Operations Lead will supervise a team of Operations Associates, scheduling work shifts, assuring adequate coverage, monitoring system operations, and supporting, reviewing, and evaluating the Operations Associates team to ensure quality.
The Operations Lead will lead a team of 5-10 remotely-located Operations Associates as they monitor patient conversations with our augmented intelligence system. The Operations Associates monitor patient conversations, interpreting patient responses to deduce intent when the natural language processing (NLP) engine cannot, and directing the automated system to learn correct responses.
The Operations Lead will be responsible for ensuring that any questions the automated agent cannot process are being promptly and correctly addressed by the Operations Associates, and the Operations Lead will support the Operations Associates with any questions or issues that arise. The Operations Lead will be responsible for scheduling adequate coverage by time zone, overseeing Operations Associate education and training, ensuring that the Operations Associates are on the job, and will be expected to step in to the Operations Associate role from time to time as needed.
The Operations Lead will not be responsible for the technical operation of the system, and will not dispense medical advice. But, the Operations Lead will work with the technology team to improve and iterate on the system, and will facilitate the automated system’s learning by leading interactions with designated subject matter experts to determine correct answers and then updating the system accordingly.Location. 73V is a remote-first company; the Operations Lead will work remotely and supervise a remote team.Candidate Requirements & Skills:Mandatory:
- The ideal candidate has a passion for expanding access to reproductive care, ideally demonstrated by a commitment to reproductive freedom via proven previous engagements, including having worked (paid/volunteer) for (1) the Center for Reproductive Rights, NARAL, Planned Parenthood, or a similar organization; (2) a reproductive health provider or clinic; or (3) a political candidate with a firm reproductive health platform.
- Strict attention to detail, strong written communication skills, and an ability to communicate with compassion and empathy.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with various deadlines, to work independently, to work fast, and process multiple scenarios at once.
- Experience managing a team of at least 5 direct reports.
- Comfortable with technology, web-based tools (such as Gmail).
- Strong, reliable access to internet.
- Ability to complete company-provided HIPAA training and certification.
- Covid-19 vaccination and booster.Preferred:
- Project manager experience, and the ideal candidate will have a background in technology or consulting who is looking to do something more meaningful with their life.
- Previous experience with medical terms and conditions (clinical research or lab assistant or equivalent; medical billing or office personnel).Hours and compensation:

The Operations Associates will be responsible for monitoring patient conversations, interpreting patient responses to deduce intent when the automated natural language processing (NLP) engine cannot, and directing the automated system to learn the correct responses. The Operations Associate will not dispense medical advice, but will guide the AI. Anytime the AI does not understand the question or does not know the correct response, or when the system asks for confirmation that it is correct, the Operations Associate will be responsible for interpreting such questions and comments and directing the AI to respond with the appropriate response. Additionally, the Operations Associates will identify when there are gaps in the system’s knowledge, and will be responsible for interfacing with the designated subject matter experts to determine the correct answer and then updating the system with the correct answer when it is determined.Location. 73V is a remote-first company, and Operations Associates will work remotely.Candidate Requirements & Skills:Mandatory:
